Youth Day – Celebrate Life!

the early period of existence, growth, or development.

Today is Youth Day! While PackH2O tends to focus strongly on mothers, today is especially important. When the women of the world are gathering water, many times children will be right by their side. Sometimes even slung across a mothers body.

Water is essential to a young mind and body.

It’s no surprise when we say; Water is the most important resource on earth. It is part of the life cycle, it makes up a significant portion of our body contents and it allows for expansion of our mind, body and society. It is no doubt that children would be dependent on it. The fact that the youth have to choose between water and education shouldn’t be a reality. That is why access to clean, safe and convenient water is the next step to providing a better life to today’s youth.

A different kind of backpack.

Many children wake up every morning and set off to fetch water for their family. This is a chore that has to be completed before they can attend school. With a jerry can in one hand, they set off in hopes to make a quick return. PackH2O has created a backpack, similar to one a child would use for school. It provides an easier way to transport this much needed water home. Time is precious when it comes to education.

Give a pack on Youth Day and provide the opportunity for a better life.
